LIPTON ONION BURGERS
I'll be the first to admit that this picture doesn't make the burger look too appetizing, but it sure is! After taking a nibble of my sons while cutting his up, I decided to go sans bun and just eat it on the plate with a side of veggies and potatoes (Thank you Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers). This was a new recipe for us and we'll definitely be adding it to our list of favorites! This was a nice juicy burger with lots of flavor, not completely over powering with an onion flavor. It kind of reminded me of a salisbury steak. It would taste great with a side of mashed potatoes and veggies.
The recipe:
1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Onion Soup Mix
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 cup water
Also terrific with Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Beefy Onion, Onion Mushroom or Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix.
